Pull Stay is a wacky Beat 'em up game with Tower Defense mechanics. Use your fists or set crazy traps to repel enemies from rushing into your house! Defend your buddy Susumu, who goes out of his house only once in every two months for his haircut!
Pull Stay has been developed solely by me, Nito Souji.
Susumu, the protagonist of this game, is a mirrored image of myself: jobless, dependent on his family, staying in the room all day. This kind of person is called Hikikomori (ひきこもり) in Japan, which is considered as a major social issue lately.
4 years ago, I started to learn game developing from scratch with the hope of pulling me up from the mud of Hikikomori. I couldn't imagine how the indie game landscape would be ever-changing at that point. But anyway, I feel I have kept walking along with Susumu on this whole developing process.
